Signed up for yelp just to give Panera bread in St Joseph Mo a good review. This is by far the BEST Panera I have ever been to, and the others weren't bad at all so that's saying something! Every time I come in the people here are friendly, helpful, always in a good mood. And they work! Last time I saw a girl dusting the lights over the counter by putting a rag on the end of a broom handle! Talk about above and beyond! Cannot rave enough about this place. If you have not yet been to Panera in st joe, go now! You won't regret it!

Pretty typical Panera location. A bit of a turn off that the trash can at the front door was literally overflowing. Not what you want to see when you walk into a restaurant. Otherwise it looked like every other Panera location. The food was good, as Panera's in general seem pretty consistent. Unlike most locations, this one gives you one of those buzzers, and you pick up your food at the counter when it is ready, as opposed to them bringing your food out to you. Overall, a decent meal from a chain restaurant.

2.5, but feeling generous to round up. I'm a creature of habit and typically I order the same thing at every Panera Bread, which is the mac and cheese with potato chips. This particular location doesn't bring you your food, you pick it up at the counter when they call your name. I waited less than 5 minutes to pick up my entree, which is quick compared to other experiences at other locations. However, the taste is a bit different. The creamy-ness is the same, but overall the mac and cheese was saltier than other branches. Service was good, tables and restrooms were clean, parking was a-plenty; therefore, those aspects are A-Ok in my book!

Really enjoy this restaurant across the board. Have found the service and quality of food to be consistent from city to city and state to state. Tried the new Soba noodle bowl with chicken Comes with a soy miso broth, napa cabbage, spinach, roasted mushrooms and onion blend and of course soba buckwheat noodles. Found the bowl to be filling and tasty.

Stopped in at 815am on a Friday and the place was almost sold out. Took forever to get my order filled- I asked for a half dozen assorted bagels and a half dozen assorted Danish and apparently the cashier has to identify what item/ can't handle 'assorted'. Worst reward program- this is the third time in three weeks I have been to Panera, spending over $50 in the process, and I still have three visits to my next (unidentified) reward.

Panera is Panera. Always super tasty and delicious, as expected! However, if you have not tried their french toast bagel yet, you are missing out! Top that with an egg and cheese and you have a breakfast of champions... plus a lot of totally-worth-it calories.

Stopped for a quick lunch only to find a line too the door. Normally I would just look for some place else but decided to wait ... Thought I would just check emails but was surprised to find the line move right along. 3 registers open and all staffed by folks who knew what they were doing. Good was served quickly, correctly, and happy to say, all was good. Fresh. Well prepared. Restrooms were clean, dining area was clean, all was in order, good experience.

I'm also a Panera fan. I've been here twice, now. Lots of tables. Friendly staff. A little tough to find for the visitor. Solid representative of the Panera / St Louis Bread Co family.

Panera is always quality, and this location is no exception. Real food at decent prices and with a lovely casual atmosphere. The staff bend over backwards to meet your desires. Grateful for a Panera in St Joseph! !

Very happy with the service. They were out of tomato bread or something, something my wife wanted. Since they were out, they gave us different pieces of all types to try with the sandwich.

This was absolutely the worst Panera Bread experience I have ever come across. The man taking our order was clearly under-trained. There was not a manager to be seen from the time we walked in, to the time we left, twenty minutes later. My brother tried to order a "Big Kid Grilled Cheese", an item no longer featured on their menu but because the restaurant still carries all the ingredients, most are willing to still make it. They refused to do so. The store was filthy. Tables were not wiped down. There was trash and crumbs all over the floor. According to my mother, the Women's bathroom was out of paper towels. My mother wasn't given clear instruction on where to receive the quiche she ordered. The sandwich my brother did order did not receive a side at all, let alone the one he ordered with it. My Pick Two Combo was given the wrong soup and was without utensils. My brother's sandwich and baguette were awful and tasted old. This Panera also does not bring your order to the table as so many others have begun to do. Panera as a company has gone down in quality considerably. Their staff and mangers always seem to have a poor attitude. The whole process of getting food in ridiculously chaotic and unenjoyable. In future I will personally not be eating at any Panera if I can help it, but certainly not this one.

I love Panera. It's as simple as that. The staff is always very friendly and the food always tastes great - whether I'm going for a bagel, soup and salad or a sandwich. Finally, if I'm really wanting to treat myself, I'll get a frozen caramel. Mmmmm. So good. Try it - you won't be disappointed.

I am a big fan of Panera and try to find one whenever I am traveling. I have been to about eight total (four different ones on a recent trip), and this one was by far the least appealing -- almost like a different chain entirely. The sandwiches were oily (had the same sandwich in Knoxville days earlier and it was great) the first time I went. So, I went back and ordered a large salad. I was not terribly impressed, until I got towards the bottom and found a humongous black FLY. It gets the second star because there was really not too much else in the neighborhood, and it still had some good bagels.

They are over priced for their dry pastries, their disgusting smoothies, and their salad dressing for a ceaser salad was not ceaser dressing. Vinegar and oil is not ceaser dressing. It was disgusting. For a salad, 2 waters, a smother, a bowl of soup and a pastry we paid about 31$ I could have got a freaking steak for that price. That was ridiculously high for lunch food. The staff was horrible. There were about 5 tables total in this place and they were not busy at all it took the chick at the cash register 30 minutes to take are freaking order. I felt like I was talking to a brick wall. I would never go here again, and I sure as heck wouldn't recommend it.
